Maldi Plate spotter/Fraction collector
The LCBOT 9000 is 3 in 1 instrument designed to be used either as (one function at a time):
• MALDI spotter
• Fraction collector
• LC autosampler

Selected peaks from the LC pump are spotted to a MALDI plate.
The start, end time as well as spots duration are define in the software. At the proper time, the spotter moves to the first plate and start Spotting. Upon completion it returns to a standby position where the efluent is sent to the waste. Up to 4 plates can be spotted with an interval time of 2 sec up to 10 minutes, depending of the flow. A matrix can be added at the time of spotting. Once completed, the plate is taken to the MALDI instrument where each spot can be analyzed.
Faction collections
The LCBOT can be used as a LC Fraction collector.
Elution from a LC pump is collected into vials. The user define the start and end time for each collectons. During the run, the LCBOTsends the flow to the waste. At collection time, the LCBOT moves to the selected vial, then direct the flow to the vial.
The collections can be automated with triggering from the LC Detector.
Once the detector signal reaches a preset threshold, it triggers the collection. The LCBOT moves to the vial and collect the eluent until the signal goes below the set threshold.
An option allows to collect in new vial for each run or to collect in the same series of vials for enrichment.
